Along with our dairy farm, Pure Mist Naturals is a small, family-run business overlooking the picturesque Black River Valley in upstate New York. We take pride in producing premium herbal bath and body products at affordable prices.
My husband Norm and I have been on our dairy farm since 1981. In 2001 I launched Pure Mist Soaps. I am a self taught soap maker. All Pure Mist products are original, formulated completely, produced and owned by me, Colleen. I do not use pre made bases or use soap or cosmetic formulas from books, giving me 100% control over the ingredients we choose or don't care to use on our bodies. We are 100% original!
In 2005 we decided it was time to make plans for a building as boxes, pails, bottles, etc. had filled our large farm house.
It would be called The Blue Bird home of Pure Mist Naturals and also house a gift shop. We chose "The Blue Bird" because I had incorporated a blue bird logo (that I had personally drawn) on all our packaging back in 2002. We opened the doors in July of 2007. Aside from the bath and body line that is made on site, our shop also carries a wide selection of gifts from the area and beyond.
Hours are as follows:
January -Closed, Feb. thru Aug. Tues. - Fri. 10:00am to 5:00pm and Sat. 9:00am to 3:00pm.
Sept. thru Dec. Mon. - Fri. 10:00am to 5:00pm. Sat. 9 - 3. Closed Sundays
